Join our Catskill Steward, Cris, for a hike to North Point. This is a moderate-difficult hike but it will be rewarding. This hike to North Point includes about 2.2 miles with plenty of elevation gain. Starting from the Scutt Road parking lot, we’ll follow the Rock Shelter and Mary’s Glen Trail to a high vantage point of North-South Lake with colorful Autumn hues.
Dog are permitted but only dogs who are also experienced hikers. There will be moments where you may need to help your pup over a scramble or two.
Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to join, as we will set aside two hours for painting and drawing. Be sure to pack snacks, water, and lunch. I am a trained artist so those looking for instruction are welcomed to attend. Depending on energy levels we can detour on the way down to view the waterfall in Mary’s Glen.
