the 4th annual HIKE FOR THE CATSKILLS seeks to raise funds that sustain the catskill center programs and mission to protect and preserve the catskills.

AND You're invited TO JOIN! 

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help us protect and preserve the Catskills. All proceeds go toward advancing the work of the Catskill Center.

This month-long event is meant for everyone! From complete beginners to expert-level hikers, all are welcome to register. Choose your own hiking goal based on your experience and availability. The Catskill Center will host a variety of hiking events throughout the month all over the Catskills.


how to participate

fundraise:

Register as an individual or part of a team. Share your personal fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues asking them to sponsor your hiking goals to benefit the Catskill Center’s work. We suggest setting a personalized corresponding hiking and fundraising goal.

Individuals can register as a fundraiser by clicking the Fundraise and teams can register by clicking the Join A Team button on the campaign page.


hike:

Participate as a team or individual, attend our guided hikes, or map out your own journey. Rallying your supporters to donate in honor of your hiking challenge makes you a part of Hike for the Catskills.

compete:

Compete by creating a team of friends, family, or colleagues, or compete on your own. There will be a grand prize for the top team and the top indivdual fundraisers (prize to be announced).

Any individual who raises $250 or more will receive a 2024 Hike for the Catskills T-shirt.


Celebrate:

All Hike for the Catskills participants are welcome to join us at West Kill Brewing on August 3 at 2:30 PM for a complimentary beverage and hiking camaraderie.

At the Catskills Celebration on August 31 at 10 am - 3 PM we will celebrate the end of a great month of hiking! There will be fun for the whole family including presentations, activities, and food.

OUR MISSION IS TO PROTECT AND FOSTER THE ENVIRONMENTAL, CULTURAL, AND ECONOMIC WELL-BEING OF THE CATSKILL REGION.
