Explore the stunning landscapes that inspired the Hudson River School of Art on this guided hike with geologist and author Robert and Johanna Titus.

Learn about the fascinating Ice Age history of the Clove, whose glacially sculpted terrain captivated artists like Thomas Cole and Asher Durand. The hike begins at the Laurel House Parking Lot, with a stop at the breathtaking Kaaterskill Falls before continuing along the Blue Rim Trail to Sunset Rock. Along the way, Dr. Titus will share insights into the geology and art history of this iconic region. Please wear sturdy footwear, dress in layers, apply sunscreen, and bring water for this journey through art and nature.
